She was the daughter of Thomas Eames, II 1548-1618 and Millicent Brewster, 1552-1614. Anne had five brothers and three sisters, named Alice, John, Richard, Anthony, Mark, Anne, Alice and Alia.  She died in Fordington, Dorsetshire, England. They emigrated with Anne's brother, Capt Anthony Eames, 1595-1686, and his family on the 'Recovery of London' which set sail from Weymouth on 31st March 1633, arriving in Charlestown in about July of that year. Anthony was a churchwarden in the parish of Fordington, and signed the Bishops Transcripts in that office in 1623 and 1627. Having been an officer of his church, his motivation for emigration may have been more capitalist than religious. Antony Eames is listed among the passengers of the ship "Recovery of London", Gabriel Cornish, master, which sailed from the port of Weymouth to New England on 16 Mar. 1633. Captain Anthony Eames (1595 – 1686) Churchwarden of St Georges Church & Constable of Fordington Manor,

Rev Edward Pele/Peale or Peele

Vicar of Fordington & Rector of East Compton Dorset

The Rev. Edward Pele was born in the year 1582 in Cumberland where the Peele family name is of long standing, died in 1643. Edward Pele duly obtained his Batchelor of Arts degree at Queens College on 11 July 1605 but he had already decided to join the church so never went on to obtain his MA there. A leading speaker who pleaded the puritan cause at the Hampton Court Conference was the Master of Emmanuel College Cambridge, Laurence Chaderton and it was to this college that Edward Pele turned for his future.

Cester Rose and "J.W.", or Duke lived up Lacy creek, which was serviced by the Hazelgreen Post office.

Graduate of Hazel Green
